Almost 20 years ago, with young children and an ache in my soul for something more than “just” being a mom, I was feeling alone and isolated—in a city full of people, but with no safe community around me. Then I took an Usui Reiki class.

First, Level 1, where I learned to work with the energy on myself. Then Level 2, where I branched out and began working with others. And finally Level 3, the Master Class, which gave me the knowledge to teach and attune others. For many years, that’s what I did, within the confines of traditional Usui Reiki.

My journey and exploration didn't end there. I worked with people and I learned then, through challenges both professionally and personally, I connected with a teacher who helped me link the rest of my own teachings together. I began to weave in the plants, the stones, the elements, and spirit—the pieces that had always been there, but had never quite had a place together.
When I remembered myself, the game changed.
